Born in Kursk, Russia in 1922.
He was a member of Union of Artists of Russian and was active in Krasondar, Russia.
Sidorov studied in the studio of Ilya Repin's disciple, Peter Likhin, until he was inducted into the Red Army during World War II. He was decorated with the Great Patriotic War Order and numberous other medals. In 1950, he graduated from the Krasnodar Art Schook, eventually becoming a member of the Union of Artists in 1978 and an Honored Cultural Worker of Kuban in 1996.
His works are in the permanent collection of the Russian Ministry of Culture and the Kovalenko Art Museum in Krasnodar.
He is listed on page 294 of Matthew Bown's, A Dictionary of Twentieth Century Russian and Soviet Painters.
